Toronto Lounges Bauhaus

The Bauhaus is a Toronto lounge named after a German movement of gloomily liberated artists, but this is not the Gothic dungeon kind of bar that one might expect from its name. It is an innovative mix of a cigar/martini/whiskey bar that also becomes a high-tech nightclub after hours.

There is so much going on at once here, with two separate floor designs to create two distinct atmospheres. A great thing about this spot is that there's no attitude from the staff. They are friendly and the people who frequent the place are there for hard-drinking fun. From apple martinis to whiskey malts to Dominican cigars, Bauhaus has something for everyone. Customers like the reasonably priced drinks and innovative music. From ghetto groove to superfly house, that turns into Latino later in the evening, and that's all on a Monday night.
